The Government intends to purchase the following: one (1) each Transmitter, to include: 20 watt output, FM modulated; frequency band 1710-1850 Mhz; tunable 140 channels with front panel selector; 28 volt DC power input, maximum current 6 amp; maximum dimension 15x7x7 inches and weight 10 lbs; audio and telemetry subcarrier; 6dB omni antenna suitable for helicopter mounting; cable for connecting antenna; power cable. One (1) each Receiver, to include: frequency band 1710-1850 Mhz; tunable to match transmitter 140 channels with front panel selector; 8mm tape video tape recorder/player; 4 inch LCD display; audio and telemetry outputs; receive antenna with stand; antenna cable; maximum weight 15 lbs in portable case with handle; power from internal battery or external 12 Vdc; signal strength meter; external power cable. Portable video and voice/data link. The link will take standard video (RS-170) input and will transmit, receive, record and display real time video imagery. The unit will provide two channels for voice/telemetry transmissions with the video. The transmitter will need to be capable of operating aboard a Navy/Marine helicopter during flight. The receiver will have the recording and display capability and will have a self contained battery. The system will be complete with antennas, antenna cable and power cables. Award of this procurement is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
