J -- LOGISTIC SUPPORT OF LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES ELECTRONIC DIGITAL SWITCH (EDS) SYSTEMS POC Contact Joann Ervin, (908)532-7985. The U.S. Army is seeking sources for Long Term Life Cycle Support (LTLCS) of Lucent Technologies (formally AT&T) EDS Systems located at all DOD and Federal Agencies worldwide. The switch system includes: switch hardware and software, switch peripheral equipment, and system components (hardware and software) comprised of other manufacturers proprietary equipment, Automated Centralized Operation and Maintenance Systems (ACOMS), Telephone Management Systems (TMS), and Automated Dial Assistance Service (ADAS). Contractor will be required to show past performance evidence of having directly provided the following support services for digital switching systems or having managed, as in integrator, a group of subcontractors that provided these types of support services for digital switching systems. System support services include: repair/return, remote diagnostics, emergency technical assistance, software and hardware upgrades and enhancements, Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) Applications, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Applications, parts acquisition, training, technical documentation, support of all system software releases resident on fielded systems, and all labor necessary to provide these support services for Lucent Technologies switching systems. Provide contract and delivery order management services, provide on-line access to delivery order and contract service data base and provide, via site visits, mailings, emails or telephonic contact by qualified personnel, information to LTLCS customers or potential customers regarding the products and features available to be acquired for support of the switching system. Contract period of performance is five years (basic with four 12 month option years).
