41 -- MC-130H COMBAT TALON II H-PLUS PACK UPGRADE POC Ms. Deborah Weber, Contracting Officer, 513 255-2974. The MC-130H Combat Talon II (CT-II) Contracting Division (ASC/LUMK) at Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright -Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, seeks sources for upgrading the existing H Pack refrigeration units to H-Plus Packs on the 21 remaining unmodified CT-II aircraft starting in November 1996. Overall requirements include the fabrication and assembly of two replacement modification kits, P/N 830432-1, labor and materials to modify 42 H Packs, NSN 1660-01-335-4991LG, from a 2200440-7-3 configuration to a 2200440-11-1 configuration, and labor and materials to repair two H-Plus Packs. Drawings for H-Plus Packs and modification kit assembly are not available from the Government. AlliedSignal AES, in Tempe, AZ, is the only known contractor with access to these items. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued by 11 October 1996. All information received by the government as a result of this request for sources shall be at no cost, nor, shall the government compensate any respondent for costs incurred in the development of this information. This request for sources in no way commits or implies a commitment by the government for future contractual obligation.
