This announces the availability of Draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for the solicitation F05604-96-R-9005 and to encourage industry comments. Companies who have already submitted letters expressing interest will be sent a copy of each RFP. Those who have not already contacted us, should do so by letter by 23 Sep 96 and include the address to which the draft RFP should be mailed. FAX requests can be sent to (719)556-7396. A site visit will be held at Clear AS Alaska on 7 October 1996 and at Cavalier AS North Dakota on 9 October 1996. The preproposal conference will be held at Cavalier AS on 10 October 1996, in the Community Center Building 707, at 0900. Questions arising as a result of the site visit will be responded to informally at the preproposal conference. RFP questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Bldg. 365, 135 E. Ent Ave., Suite 101, Peterson AFB CO 80914-1385. All questions must be submitted by 28 October 1996 and will be officially responded to as an amendment for the RFP. Security clearance of SECRET is a minimum requirement for the site visit. Attendance is limited to three (3) persons per company including subcontractors for the Site Visit and Preproposal conference. If you plan to attend the site visit, we must receive your visit request with appropriate security information to include name, SSAN, DOB, place of birth and Security clearance (type and date) by 23 Sep 96.
