The National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for the Immunology/Virology Branch, Laboratory Medicine Department. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced standing order to Wampole Laboratories, Division of Carter-Wallace, Inc., for reagent kits. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY97 funding. (240)
