The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure nine (9) 15 meter Utility Boats (15m UB) and related data. The construction of the 15m UB will be in accordance with Specifications for Building 15 Meter Utility Boats FY97, NAVSEA T9008-CX-SBS-010/15UB (Metric) dated 31 July 1996. The boats will be of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) construction with a single diesel engine. Delivery of the first boat will commence 10 months after contract award. Delivery of the second boat will commence 12 months after contract award with one (1) boat per month delivered thereafter. This is a 100% small business set aside. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Since this is a non-development item (NDI) procurement, this will not be a FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) procurement.
