D -- WORLD WIDE WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES SOL 52SBNS6C9299 DUE 101596 POC Sandra Febach (301) 975-6326, FAX (301) 963-7732 The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has a requirement for contractor support for the continuing development, operation, and maintenance of the multiple web sites for numerous internal and external agency customers. The government intends to procure a wide range of services required to develop, operate, or maintain a high quality web site. Work requirements will include: common gateway interface programming; graphics design, server gateway applications; hypertext markup language (HTML) development and maintenance; statistical reporting; search engines; server operations and maintenance; training; and presentation services. A full Statement of Work will be included with the solicitation. It is our intent to make multiple awards of Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA). Period of performance under the BOA will be two years, subject to annual review. Competitive RFQs/RFPs for specific work assignments will be issued to all holders of the BOA, and individual awards for each order under the BOA will be based on past performance under price competition among BOA holders. Delivery schedules will be specified on individual Task Orders and may be from one up to 360 workdays, depending on the complexity of the requirement. Approximately 1,000 firm-fixed price orders, with estimated values from $10,000 to $60,000 will be issued during the life of the BOA. The applicable SIC code is 7379, with a size standard of $18M.
