The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source contract to IQ Software Corporation, 3295 River Exchange Drive, Suite 550, Norcross, GA 30092-4220. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is IRS-96-0038 and is being issued as a request for proposal. Maintenance and support will encompass a toll-free number access with an unlimited number of calls from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday and Master Copies of software updates that can be copied and distributed to the users.
