69 -- TARGET SYSTEMS SOL DAKF40-96-R-0037 DUE 090696 POC Contract Specialist JEANETTE DAVIS (910) 396-4362 X226 (Site Code DAKF40) This is a notice of intent to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with ATA Defense Industries, Inc., Hanover, MD for Portable Infantry Target Systems (PITS). One hundred (100) PITS with night effects simulator, PN # 100-1000-0; ten (10) hand held controllers, programmable (HHC), PN # 500- 1000-0; one hundred (100) spare parts kits, PN # 100-1000-9; six (6) battle effects simulators (BES), PN # 002-1000-0; and training in operations and maintenance of the systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after initial date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Responses must be in writing and must include pricing and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that comparable sources more advantageous to the Government are available, a contract will be negotiated with ATA Defense Industries, Inc.
