TITLE: TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF COMMAND ACTIVITIES SOL: N/A DUE: N/A HQ Air Mobility Command (AMC) is soliciting information from interested sources relating to specific Computer Related Technical Services which may be acquired in the future from non-government sources to support command activities. Services required will not only support HQ AMC but also support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), HQ Air Weather Service (HQ AWS), Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA) and base support functions located on Scott AFB IL. These services would fall into the categories of: 1) Office Automation Support, 2) Help Desk Support, 3) Network Support, 4) Software Engineering/Maintenance/Licensing, 5) Geographic Information Systems Support Services, 6) Computer System Integration, Engineering and Installation Support, 7) Software and System Support, 8) Computer Operations Support. HQ AMC envisions potentially requiring non-government support in performing Installation of C4 systems (Command, Control, Communications and Computers), Studies and Analysis of Specific C4 requirements, Software Development in direct support of C4 requirements, System Maintenance, Computer System Operation, System Administration configuration management, configuration control, C4 architecture design, and Project Management and Consulting support for C4 requirements. This technical support encompasses the entire range of input to policy development to system and program design, documentation control, administration, management or other improvements to the operation of systems supporting command activities. Contractor performance is anticipated to be on Scott AFB IL however support may be required at other Air Force bases, predominately AMC bases. Contractors responding to this informational synopsis must provide a capability statement (limited to 25 pages) consisting of the following: 1) Business Size (Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, 8(a)). For purposes of determining size standard utilize Standard Industry Code (SIC) 7379 - $18M, 2) Brief description of company, history, and description of primary services provided to the government and general public, 3) List of Commercial and Government contracts awarded within the last 2 years to include, but not limited to: type of contract, total dollar amount of award (if labor hour type contract - list all labor categories, position description (narrative format) and Commercial and Government hourly rate (burdened and unburdened)), contract number, location, point of contact/telephone number, and duration of effort, 4) Ability or willingness to establish a local office in the vicinity of Scott AFB IL, 5) Labor force consisting of number of employees, education, number of years with your company and ability to provide/locate technical personnel in a timely manner (Labor-Data Pool), 6) Resumes of key individuals within your company, 7) Ability to support surge / expedite requirements in a short time frame, 8) Teaming arrangements you may have entered on any previous acquisitions -indicate company(s) name and size. The capability statement shall include a point of contact, address, phone number and facsimile number. Information is required no later than 6 Sep 96.
