The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing dental hygenist services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Detention Center, and the Federal Correctional Institution, Arkona Rd, Milan, MI. Services include but are not limited to: maintenance of oral hygeine of inmates, assisting in providing education on oral health. Requirements include: graduate of a college curriculum and holding a license to practice as a dental hygeniest in the state of Michigan. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve months from date of award, with four, one year option periods for renewal. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment. The anticipated issue date of solicitations is August 27, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by September 17, 1996.
