The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement to procure an Emergency Oxygen System for the C-2A aircraft. NAWCAD intends to procure the above system sole source firm fixed price from Scott Aviation, 225 Erie Street, Lancaster, New York 14086. The emergency oxygen system will include: an integrated face mask, quick donning in less than or equal to five seconds and goggles to provide both oxygen and smoke protection in the same unit. The system must interface with current aircraft and bailout oxygen supplies and must have an inflatable harness capable of fitting over a Navy helmet which permits donning in one hand. Scott Aviation part numbers are as follows: Full Face Mask, MF10-03-09; Mask Storage Cup, MXP405; 3 ft Extension Hose, DT54E8-1000; Oxygen Outlet, DPB181-03; Regulator, 804625-01; and 5 ft Extension Hose, DTS4E8-1500. Scott Aviation is the only known source that can provide the above fully integrated face mask. This patented mask is equipped with unique life-saving features that are not available from any other mask currently on the market. Full delivery must be complete by 30 September 1996.
