Work consists of reconstruction of the existing road approaches, site clearing and excavation, culvert installation, embankment construction, placement of woven geotextiles and machine placed rip-rap for protection of fillslopes, and crushed appregate surfacing. Culvert, geotextile, and crushed aggregate materials are contractor furnished; riprap materials are government furnished. The Chemult Ranger District is located on the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, OR. Magnitude of this project is between S25,000 and S100,000.
