PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes providing a new reinforced concrete and masonry gymnasium with concrete foundations and floor, sheet metal and single ply roofing, wood gymnasium flooring, HVAC, Facilities Management System (FMS), and built-in concrete bleachers. Facilities within the building include racquetball and basketball courts, exercise/weight rooms, locker rooms and sauna, administrative spaces, storage issue rooms, laundry room, all necessary fire protection systems and life safety considerations, and incidental related work. Site improvements include asphalt concrete paved parking, access road, storm drainage system, landscaping, all site utilities, relocation of a softball field, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 360 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
