The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for domestic advertising and publicity clippings and/or tearsheet services for savings bond information. This service is required from October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997. Contractor will be required to provide clippings containing public service advertisements, promotional advertisements or articles, feature articles or stories relating to savings bonds, payroll saving and volunteers' savings bonds campaign articles. Contractor will be required to clip items from publications in the following categories: Major Dailies, Small Dailies, Major Weeklies, Small Weeklies, Major National Publications and Smaller National Publications. Reports shall be submitted on a quarterly basis and will be broken down into three regions and a National Publications category. The RFQ will be issued fifteen days after publication of this synopsis. Requests for the RFQ should be submitted in writing to the above address, or they may be faxed to 304-480-6632. The Bureau of the Public Debt assumes no responsibility for the receipt of facsimile transmissions. The responsibility lies solely with the contractor.
