K -- NONPERSONAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE A BASELINE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF A US ARMY-OWNED T-700 ENGINE Contact Glenda M Simnacher, Contracting Officer, 512-939-2543 (Site Code DAAC83). Nonpersonal services to provide a baseline performance assessment of a US Army-owned T-700 engine. This assessment shall provide test data to enable a correlation of the Corpus Christi Army Depot's T-700 test cell 14. The contractor shall also provide an upgrade to CCAD's existing GE data reduction program to include the capability of analyzing and rating GE engines. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with General Electric, 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn MA 01910 because the engine and major components are proprietary and GE is the only company that has designed a data reduction model that is a representative of the actual performance characteristics. The award will be under a Basic Ordering Agreement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. See Numbered Note 22. (222)
