The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire engineering and technical services in support of the preparation/update of Maintenance Standards Programs for Naval shipboard equipments and systems (primarily mechanical, electrical, electronics and weapons) for the CGN 36, CGN 38, DD 963, DDG 993, FFG 7, CG 47 and DDG 51 class ships. Some of the tasks include: perform research of equipment maintenance data and recommend equipments/standards for which maintenance standards should be prepared or updated, validate maintenance standards at industrial activities, and uniquely identify maintenance standard candidates by Allowance Parts List (APL) number, manufacturer's identification number, model number, etc. The services are for the Naval Sea Systems Command Detachment PERA (Surface) Headquarters, Philadelphia, PA. The total estimated level of effort is 237,720 manhours for a base period plus two one-year option periods. A cost plus fixed fee contract is contemplated.
