Z -- DEMOVE/CLEAN/REPLACE JOINT SEAL MATERIAL POL AREA SOL F41620-96-Q0406 DUE 091396 POC Dan Doggett tel: 806-885-3003/Staci Ramrakha Contracting Officer 806-885-3995 This project is to provide all services required to remove existing joint material from all joints and cracks, clean joints, replace the bond breaker as necessary and reseal the joints with jet fuel resistant joint sealer for tanks 791, 792, 794 and 795. All work is to be done in a class I, division I, hazardous location. All equipment used to do this work shall be approved to be used around explosive fuels. All equipment shall be safety tested prior to being used and shall be approved by the contracting officer. The contractor shall follow all Federal, State and local safety regulations for working in fueling areas and instruct all employees of the safety requirements of this project. Work is primarily concrete pavements type work. Contractor shall be experienced in working in and around jet fuel storage areas. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor equipment, tools, and services necessary to complete the work. Performance period is 60 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Request for Quotations will be issued on or about 20 August 1996 with a tentative date of 13 September 1996 for receipt of offers. This project will be full and open competition, and Small and Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns are encouraged to participate in this request. The Standard Industrial Code is 1629. All responsible sources may submit a offer which will be considered. Only written requests will be accepted. There is no charge for the Request for Quotations. The work is to be accomplished at Reese AFB, TX which is located approximately 10 miles west of Lubbock, Texas. (0221)
