R -- ENVIRONMENTAL JOB ORDER CONTRACT SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA SOL N63387-96-R-3600 DUE 092596 POC Information regarding plans and specifications is provided at the end of this announcement. The work includes emergency spill response, tank sampling, analysis, cleaning and possible removal and disposal, sampling and analysis of soil, water, asbestos and lead, asbestos testing and various other types of hazardous waste clean-up and disposal at various Navy and Marine Corps complexes in San Diego County and San Clemente Island, Los Angeles County, California. A Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract is anticipated. The requirement is estimated between $5.0 million and $10.0 million per year with a base year and four option periods. The Standard Industrial Classification number applicable to this procurement is 8999 and the annual size standard is $5.0 million. Contract duration period is 13 months for the base period with 4 option periods for a total possible time of 61 months. The options will be awarded at the discretion of the Government. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 2.00 P.M. local time on September 9, 1996 at the Navy Public Works Center, Bldg 291, 2730 McKean Street, 32nd Street Naval Station, San Diego, California in the large conference room.
