Performance is 1 Nov 96 - 30 Sep 97. Four one-year options may be
awarded. SIC CODE 8099 SIZE STANDARD $5.0 Million. Seeking the services
of a competent medical authority (CMA) for the Nuclear Weapons
Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) at the Newark, Ohio, Rockwell
facility. The CMA is a physician (M.D., D.O. or M.B.) or group of
physicians that would make sound, clinically based, medical judgements
on the reliabiity of approximately 100 individuals and communicate
this information to the appropriate PRP managers. The CMA must be
within 30 minutes of the Rockwell facility at Newark, Ohio. The CMA
will need to provide his or her own facility for the CMA work including
support staff, telephones, fax machines and other appropriate office
equipment necessary to conduct business; the CMA may be required to
evaluate workers at the Rockwell site. It is expected that the CMA will
spend approximately 7 hours per week on the PRP work. When requesting
bid set(s), provide information as to whether your organization
(together with its affiliates) is a large or small business. Businesses
requesting copies of solicitations must furnish representation with
their request as to whether they are a small disadvantaged business.
This solicitation will be issued approx 96 Aug 21. All responsible
sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be
considered. No tel requests. Only written or faxed requests received
directly from the requestor are acceptable. Direct all requests for

been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the
Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential
offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to
communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of
this acquisition. Potential offerors should use established channels to
request information, pose questions, and voice concerns before
resorting to use of the Ombudsman. Potential offerors are invited to
