Officer. Western intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with
Network Resources for the following Portable Pen Terminals with
integrated scanners and wireless communications capabilities: 4 each:
P/N PPT4600-SOHWOWOO1, pen based terminal w/4 MB ROM flash memory and
16 MB RAM, 1/2 screen with integrated scanner, 2 each: P/N
PPT4640-S0HWOW0011, pen based terminal w/4 MB ROM flash memory and 16MB
RAM, full screen with integrated scanner, 1 each: master cradle for
host computer interface, 1 each: null modem cable for master cable, 6
each: AC adapter for PPT4600 and cradle, 5 each: slave cradle for
communication with host computer, 5 each: cable for slave cradle, 6
each: vehicle cradle includes power supply, cable terminator, 1 cable
chaining interconnect and quick Reference Guide, 1 each: P/N PPT4600
software development kit for DOS/Windows. Accessories include - 6 each:
P/N PPT4600 battery pack, 1 each: 4-pack of passive pens, 1 each:
two-day visual design studio (training). Vendors able to meet this
requirement are invited to identify their interest and ability by
submitting a proposal to include technical data, pricing, and any other
information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement
within 15 days of this publication. If no affirmative responses are
received within this time frame to determine that a comparable source
more advantageous to the Government is available, negotiations will
take place with Network Resources. Synopsis is published for
