Contact Capt Madelena Dama, Contracts Manager, or Paula Tutwiler,
Contracting Officer at (904) 882-4141. The Air Force Development Test
Center, 46th Test Wing, is seeking sources with the capabilities to
design, fabricate, test, and deliver approximately 100 power amplifiers
for the 6 Ghz to 18 Ghz frequency band. The amplifiers will be used in
the new Radio Frequency Simulator (RFS) located in the Guided Weapons
Evaluation Facility (GWEF) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The
amplifiers will be specified for high third order intercept point and
low noise figure. Additional capabilities include Transistor Transistor
Logic (TTL) controlled enabling of the DC bias lines, TTL selected
amplifier bypass switching, and a -20 dB sample of radio frequency (RF)
output. One TTL logic bit will control both the DC enable and bypass
functions. Also, require hermetically sealed package and standard
connector for power and control lines. Successful suppliers will be
required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform
when used for the purpose intended by the Air Force. Potential sources
will be screened according to their ability to design, fabricate, and
deliver RF amplifiers which meet the specification and delivery
requirements. Contract award anticipated January 1997, with final
delivery October 1997. Submit statement of capability, including
