Williams, Purchasing Specialist, 901/747-7655 The project consists of furnishing manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to design, build, and install Security Systems in Four Postal Facilities in the Atlanta, Georgia area. A fixed price contract for the Design, Build and Installation of the security and security related renovations to the Atlanta General Mail Facility, Atlanta Bulk Mail Center, and North Metro Mail Processing Center and their sites to provide a fully integrated security management system which includes but is not limited to access control, cctv system, remote and local monitoring and assessment at all facilities, as further defined in the contract documents. All components of the security system are to be comprised of the same manufacturer. All alternates mentioned in the specification are part of the base bid proposal. Phasing of the work is required. The facilities must maintain full operation during construction. Copies of the Asbestos assessment report are included in the solicitation. Abatement of asbestos containing material found during the renovations, in the areas as identified by the report will be the responsibility of the contractor to remove in accordance with all applicable regulations and in accordance with plans and specifications. The issue date for the above project is August 5, 1996. The return date for the above project is August 30, 1996. The performance time is 210 days.
