R -- SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL DAAE0796RX157 POC POC: Vanita Sims (810) 574-5021 It is proposed to award a modification to contract DAAE 07-94-C-R113 on a sole source basis for continued engin eering and system technical support services. System te chnical support is currently being performed under this contract by Barnes and Reinecke, Inc., of Arlington heights, Illinois. By discrete work directives issued, bri is currently working on 33 projects that technically support the M88a1 medium recovery vehicle and the M551 armored reconnaissance/Airborne assault vehicle systems. These projects involve the disciplines of mechanical and electrical engineering, computer-aided drafting (CAD), quality assurance, configuration management, packaging and integrated logistics support. An additional 13,611 hours is necessary and will be acquired by this action, at an approximate COST of $660,000, to complete those projects. Authority: 10 U.S.C.(C)(1).
