Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Chiron Corporation, 4560 Horton Street, Emeryville, CA 94608-2916 to provide a complete supply/service package to include a Chiron HIV instrument system, training, maintenance (at no charge to the Government), and quantiplex tm HIV-RNA assay kits to perform viral load testing. The period covered under this contract will be November 1, 1996 through October 31, 1997. This will be the only notice of such a solicitation. Interested parties capable of providing this package are invited to submit a request in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer listed in this announcement.
