Roofing systems shall be standardized to the greatest possible extent to reduce future design, maintenance and replacement costs. Roofs will have to withstand severe arctic weather. The work shall be completed in the summer of 1997. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short, and shipment of materials can only take place in July - August. Special Note: All discussions leading to contract award shall take place at the contracting office in the Embassy of the United States of America in Copenhagen, Denmark. All costs, including travel costs, incurred by interested parties, responding to this synopsis and any costs incurred as a result of subsequent discussions prior to award of the contract are the sole responsibility of the interested parties.
