The objective of this solicitation is to provide administrative, operational, technical, and training support in the areas of Pavements, Pavement Rehabilitation, Materials, and Base Design, and other Pavements related technology. The training will cover all aspects of Hot-Mix Asphalt Technology, Portland Cement Concrete Paving Technology and Quality Assurance procedures. The focus of the contract will be to provide training for practitioners at the management, engineering and construction levels. These courses will cover the complete state-of-the-art technologies as further defined in the individual task orders issued during the term of the contract. The courses that may be covered include but are not limited to: Hot-Mix Asphalt Construction, Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant Production, Hot-Mix Asphalt Materials and Mix Design, Hot-Mix Asphalt Maintenance and Rehabilitation, Techniques for Pavement Rehabilitation, Pavement Recycling for Local Agencies, Pavement Recycling for State Agencies, Introduction to Superpave, and Cost Effective Techniques for System Preservation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FHWA.
