The Government intends to award a contract to Hughes Technical Services on a sole source basis for a repair of a specific make and model 364587-011 power supplies (quantity two (2); s/n 106 and 124. Hughes Technical Service will be providing parts, labor for replacement of the high voltage module unit on both power supplies. These power supplies are an integral part of the OJ-663 tactical console which is proprietary to Hughes and are used to support AEGIS Baseline 5 and above lifecycle support engineering activities (LSEA). Also the components and interfaces with these OJ-663 tactical consoles are proprietary to Hughes. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is subject to availability of funds. All responsible sources shall provide documentation for authorized factory repair facility of these power supplies from Hughes Technical Services which will be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448.
