The project consists of, but not limited to the following: 1) demolish existing boiler and hot water circulating pumps; 2) provide a new gas-fired hot water boiler. Replace existing hot water circulating pumps; 3) demolish existing cooling tower, chiller, chilled water pump, and condenser water pump; 4) cap and abandon existing chilled water system piping; 5) provide new air handling units AHU1, AHU-2, AHU-3 with remote roof mounted DX condensing units. Provide structural steel modifications as well as new structural steel supports for condensing units; 60 replace three (3) horizontal unit heaters at the loading dock; 7) balance new air handling units and existing ductwork and diffusers; 8) balance hot water circulation system; 9) replacement existing workroom lighting with new energy efficient fluorescent lighting fixtures. Cost estimate is between $175,000 to $225,000 with completion of work within 180 days. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 1996.
