The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Construction of a new two-story 7,200 SF building, consisting of CMU with brick veneer, standing seam metal roof, VAV HVAC, misc electrical including intercom & paging system, fire sprinkler system, compressed air system, and oxygen pressure booster system. Interior consists of administration and office interior. Site work includes: sidewalks, concrete ramp & drives and landscaping. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $750,000 and $1,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a August 19, 1996. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
