DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The work includes the furnishing, labor, and installation of all materials and equipment required to complete: PART A - A double high-bay, steel-framed hangar with a two-story administration space, two hazardous materials storage buildings (additive bid item), and AFFF containment tanks; PART B - Armory addition and utility improvements; Other major work includes associated paving, parking areas, (additive bid item) sitework, fencing, utility expansion, fire protection, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning and electrical work and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 320 calendar days. -- This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
