DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes Construction of new Bulk Fuel Facility including new Aircraft Fueling Apron, Hot Fueling Points, Fuel Truck Loading Facility and Parking, Bulk Fuel Tanks, Fuel Truck Unloading Station and single story Fuel Facility Building and Ready Room Building. Other major work includes apron striping, fencing, gates, utility improvements, fire protection systems, and all other associated civil, sitework, mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, and electrical work and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 million.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 600 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
