Officer, (703) 325-1200. The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA)
plans to award a sole source modification to contract DNA001-95-C-0193
with Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA). The modification will
support enhancements identified by the Counterproliferation Advanced
Concept Technology Demonstration (CP ACTD) warfighting sponsor US
European Command. This effort will be integrated into the on-going
software development efforts by ARA. The contemplated period of
performance is 25 months. DSWA believes that ARA is the only source
able to fill this requirement because of unique knowledge of the
Versions 3.0 and 4.0 of the Munitions Effects Assessment (MEA) codes
and experience in code development. Any other firm desiring
consideration must fully identify its capability to perform the
requirement. A solicitation will be issued on or about 22 Aug 96. For
