Kay, Contracting Officer The contractor shall provide one (1) High Speed ADP Printer, including all software necessary to operate on/off line from mainframe or personal computer; and one year (12 months) of on-site/on call maintenance. Location for delivery and installation is Yokosuka, Japan. Specifications of the printer are: Minimum 92 PPM (8 1/2'' x 11''); 300 DPI or equivalent; ability to read existing Xerox Print Description Language, using Dynamic Job Description Entries, Job Description Library, Job System Libraries, and Job Description Entries. The input data source is a 9-track magnetic tape 1600/6250bpi, resulting in 8 1/2'' x 11'' printed output, using the following formats: ANSI, IBM, BURROUGHS, HONEYWELL, SPERRY/UNIVAC SERIES 70, DEC, CDC, NCR, ICL Interpress on tape, on-line channel IBM 3811/3211; code sets include EBCDIC, ASCII, BCD (9 track). This requirement will be solicited using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Offerors will be required to convert a 9-track tape, and provide output with their proposal. Required delivery time is 30 days after contract award, FOB Destination to Yokosuka, Japan. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
