Lang, Procurement Assistant, 706/546-3533. The USDA, ARS, Athens,
Georgia, intends to purchase on a sole source basis from Bran-Luebbe,
Buffalo Grove, IL, a dual channel automated ion analyzer system to
study various chemical constituents of soil, water, fertilizer and
plant materials at the Southern Piedmont Conservation Research Center
in Watkinsville, Georgia. The system components must be compatible with
an existing Tecnichon AutoAnalyzer II system. Power requirements must
be 110V/60Hz and the system shall use an IBM compatible 486/25
computer. All system components and subsystems (sampler, peristalic
pump, etc.) are controlled by a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management
System) compatible software. There are specific requirements for the
following: a random access XYZ sampler, peristalic pump, analytical
cartridges, required chemistries and detection ranges, data collection
and control software, and support services. Requests for this
