DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Sources sought to furnish all labor, material, and equipment to construct a high bay industrial facility with office and ship support space, this includes site work, concrete work, masonry, structural steel, finishes, equipment, conveying systems, specialties, mechanical, electrical, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The contract is to be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering ''Price'' and ''Technical'' evaluation factors. The following evaluation criteria has been established: Factor 1 (Price) and Factor 2 (Technical) which are weighted equally. Within the ''Technical'' factor, the following subfactors are listed in order of importance: Subfactor ''1'' Construction Execution Plan, Subfactor ''2'' Corporate Experience, Subfactor ''3'' Corporate Resources, Subfactor ''4'' Subcontracting Effort. A site visit and a preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 05 September 1996 at 9:00 a.m. local time at Southwest Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command, 1220 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, CA. Participants must reserve seating a minimum of two (2) days in advance of the conference date by faxing requests to Rose Hussak at (619) 532-2361.--This is not a public bid opening.--The estimated cost is between $10,000,000 to $25,000,000.--Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract.
