The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), SAMHSA through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Milliman & Robertson, Inc. in Denver, CO to obtain current information on managed behavioral health care organizations on data collected in FY 96. Information to be obtained includes: organization/characteristics of managed behavioral health care organizations; Mental Health/Substance Abuse (MH/SA) benefit characteristics and limits; access/utilization; and major regional differences. The final report will provide statistics concerning the characteristics of managed behavioral health care organizations, the characteristics of benefits provided through such organizations, and the utilization of MH/SA services by enrollees.
