Contractor shall supply an Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) System which includes a PC and a VME chassis, Liquid Nitrogen cooled Si(Li) Detector, PC Software, Qualitative and Quantitative EDS Software, Image Software, Digital X-Ray Mapping Software, Image Processing/Enhancement/Presentation Software and Complete Image Workspace. This system is to be utilized in conjunction with a JEOL 840A Scanning Electron Microscope. This system is required to perform a full range of applications from Full Quantiative EDS Analysis to Electron Imaging, Image Processing, and Quantative X-ray Mapping.
