The US Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of a new Postal Facility located in Zanesville, OH. The work includes but is not limited to, design, site work, utilities, structures, finishes, mechanical, electrical, roofing, plumbing and related work to construct a new 7,500 sq ft postal facility on 2.1 acre site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Zane Street and Malinda Street. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. To be considered responsive the contractor/proposer must have a minimum of 5 years as a general contractor and previous design build experience. Other requirements include the following: (1) Successful completion and favorable references for similar projects; (2) Financial stability. The proposals will be evaluated in the areas listed in descending order of importance: (1) cost/price, (2) proposed schedule for design and construction, (3) previous experience, (4) references, (5) financial stability and the award will be made on the offer determined to be in the best interest of the Postal Service.
