W -- RENTAL OF DOZER W/OPERATOR Sol 1443-RQ9470-6-0005 Due 091096 Contact Point, Barbara Bryan, 360/856-5700 x362, Contracting Officer The work to be performed under this contract consists of rental of a Caterpillar D6 Dozer (or equivalent) with operator. The Contractor will excavate and stockpile 17,400 cubic yards of material from the Company Creek Pit, located in Stehekin, Washington, in the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. Stehekin is a remote wilderness community 50 miles uplake from Chelan, Washington. The Contractor will need to arrange for barge services from the boat landing in Chelan to the boat landing in Stehekin. The Standard Industrial Code is 7353, ``Heavy Construction Equipment Rental and Leasing''. The Small Business size standard is $3.5 million (average gross receipts over the last three years). The proposed solicitation is ``Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside'' in accordance with FAR 52.219.6.
