The work includes construction of a new residential modular home to be located at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Beltsville, MD. Gross area of the home shall be no less than 1,600 square feet. The home shall provide for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, den, and living room. Home shall include appliances, floor coverings, heating and air conditioning; cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures; etc. Preparation of house site includes excavation of fundation and backfilling; 8 inch solid poured concrete foundation; extension of water line and installation of water meter; electrical service and installation of electrical meter; installation of above ground fuel tank; and installation of septic system. All work is to be completed within 150 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only one site visit is scheduled. See solicitation for date & time. This procurement is unrestricted and is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The standard industrial classification code is 1521 and the annual size standard is $17.0 million. This is a request for proposal. Offerors are required to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and technical evaluation factors.
