The existing generating units are vertical water wheel driven generators manufactured by the General Electric Company, which were converted from 25 Hz to 60 Hz in the late 1950's and early 1960's. They were rewound and uprated from 10,000 KVA to 13,000 KVA in 1983. The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to perform these tests.
