N62477-96-B-3039. The work includes the removal of the existing HVAC and replacement with a new HVAC system and incidental related work. The work includes the removal and replacement of a 565 MBH boiler, a 16,000 ducal deck, 25 HP air handler, a 5 horsepower return air fan, 23 mixing boxes, and a 1/4 HP exhaust fan. Ductwork modifications are limited to approximately 2,000 lbs. The solicitation will be an Invitation For Bids (IFB). A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Total estimated cost range is $100,000 - $250,000 including all mark-ups. Submit requests for plan and specifications when they become available on or about 9 August 1996 to OICC, Building 504, NAWCAD/NAS, Patuxent River, Maryland 20670-5504, Attn: K. Hansen. There is a $15.00 charge for plans and specifications. The non-refundable fee is payable to the Treasurer of the United States of America.
