Analysis of Environmental Air Samples for PAH and Nitro - PAH compounds for the Appalachian Laboratory for Occupational Safety and Health, Morgantown, WV. The work will cover two separate types of analysis: PAH + two Nitro - PAH compounds by EI GC/MS method: 1) prepare and clean 16 XAD-2 tubes and filters. 2) extract 16 combined filter and XAD-2 samples. 3) analyze the 16 sample extracts for 16 target PAH (range from 2-6 ring) compounds, as well as 4 - nitrobiphenyl and 1 - nitropyrene by EI GC/MS. Air samples will be collected in underground mines using diesel equipment. RFQ 96-05 contains the complete scope of work which will be performed by any contractor considered for award.
