66 -- SYNTHESIZED SIGNAL GENERATOR SOL N68936-96-Q-3560 DUE 072196 POC Don Nichols, Purchasing Agent, 619/927-3911 or Sheryl Allen, Contracting Officer, 619/939-9659. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full an open competition basis, 1 each, Synthesized Signal Generator, PN: 68369 with Option 2B. This equipment shall be capable of generating radio frequency (RF) signals from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. This equipment shall be capable of performing a frequency sweep with an operator selectable sweep width from 1 MHz to full range continuous sweep. The Maximum Leveled Output Power shall be +11 dBm, (2 GHz; +7 dBm, _2 to _20 GHz; and +3 dBm from )20 to _40 GHz. Leveled ouput power range shall be from maximum leveled power to -115 dBm. Internal attenuator shall have 10 dB attenuation per step. RF output shall be capable of modulation from external or internal sources: PRF Range 100 KHz to 5 MHz leveled, On/Off triggered, gated, delayed, singlet, doublet and triplet modes with an operator selectable clock rate of 40 MHz or 10 MHz. Pulse generator parameters shall be: Pulse Width 25 ns to 1.6 s; Period 250 ns to 1.6s; Variable Delay Minimum 1 ns as a singlet to 100 ns with doublets and triplets. System shall have an internal pulse generator capable of performing Swept Delay to simulate moving target returns. Due to unique capabilities, this requirement is sole sourced to Anritsu Wiltron of Morgan Hill, CA. This synopsis serves as both the publication and the solicitation for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Award will be made on or before Sep 1, 1996. This procurement will be awarded under FAR part 12 procedures. See Note 22. (0200)
