The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide Advanced Occupational Education Programs to inmates housed at the Federal Medical Center located in Rochester, MN. The contractor will provide accredited academic courses, issue certificates and issue applied credit hours. Contractors will be responsible for total program management and will provide all services associated to maintain contract performance. Contractor will evaluate and establish applied credit hours and be responsible for record keeping, issuing certificates, and issuing official credits of programs that are instructed by Federal Bureau of Prisons personnel. This contract shall contain options for a base year and four one year option periods. Proposals must provide separate prices for the base year, option period one, two, three and four. The period of performance shall be as follows: The base year of the contract shall be from 12/1/96 - 11/30/97; option period one 12/1/97 - 11/30/98; option period two 12/1/98 - 11/30/99; option period three 12/1/99 - 11/30/2000; and option period four 12/1/2000 - 11/30/2001.
