The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment, Philadelphia, intends to acquire services from Siemens Medical Systems, Inc. to maintain and repair the five Siemens Gamma Camera Systems used for Nuclear Medicine Studies by the Nuclear Medicine Division at the Naval Medical Center at Portsmouth, VA. Maintenance services will include both emergent repair services and quarterly preventative maintenance inspections. The proposed contract will encompass one twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods. This procurement is being accomplished pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Siemens Medical Systems, Inc., as the manufacturer of this system, is the only source qualified to perform the required maintenance. The applicable Standard Classification Number is 8099.
