14 -- FY97 HARPOON WEAPON SYSTEM FOREIGN MILITARY SALES REQUIREMENT POC Contact, Linda Mobley, Phone (703)604-0757 Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a contract for the Fiscal Year 1997 (FY97) Harpoon Weapon System foreign military sales (FMS) requirement. This requirement will include the procurement of Harpoon missiles and all related equipment and services. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. McDonnell Douglas is the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the Harpoon Weapon System and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe. - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 40059-96.
