DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes removal of equipment and paving; excavation and preparation of soil for building structure; installation of concrete slab, footings, and steel structural frame with roof only; installation of bridge crane and controls; relocation and removal of process tanks; installation of new process tanks; new paving, and associated plumbing, fire protection, electrical and finishing work, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 150 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1629 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
