The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to extend the ordering period under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-95-G-5627 from 31 July 1996 to 31 July 1998. NAVSEA intends to continue to issue orders under this BOA to Lockheed Martin, Tactical Defense Systems (formerly Loral Defense Systems - East) of Great Neck, New York. The orders shall be for the materials and services required for equipment changes for the MK 92 Fire Control Systems (FCS) installed in Foreign Military Sales Customer Fleets. Lockheed Martin is the only United States manufacturer ever licensed to produce the MK 92 FCS and possesses unique manufacturing, operating and troubleshooting capabilities essential to meeting these requirements. Therefore, Lockheed Martin is the only source with the proven capability to perform this effort. The total ordering period shall be from 01 August 1995 through 31 July 1998. (0198)
